Waktu yang dapat diperoleh melalui penerapan penuh dari langkah-langkah ini bahkan jika hanya berhari-hari atau berminggu-minggu dapat sangat berharga dalam mengurangi jumlah kematian dan kematian. Ini terlihat dalam peningkatan besar dalam pengetahuan, pendekatan dan bahkan alat yang telah terjadi hanya dalam 7 minggu sejak virus ini ditemukan melalui karya ilmiah cepat yang telah dilakukan di Cina.
